Working with Karadeniz Holding, we designed and developed the Karpower website over two months. We organized its energy and infrastructure content so visitors can learn about the company and explore its businesses. Our work covered wireframes, design alternatives, static development with Hugo, animations and SEO. We used Nginx and Node.js for the contact form and Nginx WAF for security.

Our Process

At every step, we brought research, design and technology together around one goal.

Customer Needs and Goals

We worked with Karadeniz Holding to present Karpower’s energy and infrastructure activities through a clear web experience. The design needed to help visitors learn about the company, explore its businesses and reach relevant solutions.

Strategy and Planning

We established the content order and navigation through wireframes. This stage defined the information highlighted on the homepage and the connections between business and solution pages.

We prepared alternative designs based on this structure and revised them following feedback. These revisions clarified the information hierarchy and visual direction. The two-month process also covered turning those decisions into the finished website.

Design and User Experience

The UI/UX work combined a large visual introduction with readable text and clear navigation links. Separate sections for business areas and energy solutions help visitors find the content that interests them.

We designed layouts for desktop, tablet and phone use, considering how images, text and menus fit each screen size. Animations support transitions between content on the page.

Application and Development

We developed the website’s content pages as static pages using Hugo. We implemented the designs in page templates, adapted them to different screen sizes and added animations. Hugo generates ready-to-publish HTML pages from the content.

We built the contact form using Nginx and Node.js. The project used Nginx WAF as its web application firewall.

SEO work ran alongside design and development. We worked on page titles, content hierarchy and a structure that helps search engines understand the pages.

Results and Achievements

After two months, we completed a website bringing together Karpower’s company information, businesses and energy solutions. The experience developed through wireframes and design revisions became static pages generated with Hugo. Responsive layouts, animations and SEO work were delivered as part of the same project. We built the contact form with Nginx and Node.js and added a security layer with Nginx WAF.
